Chapter History
The Sensational Sigma Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on April 26, 1997, by nine tenacious women on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The bold decision to charter this chapter has extended many collegiate women to seek membership into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
The Sigma Phi Chapter proudly serves the University of Arkansas at Monticello by hosting and collaborating with other campus organizations' programs that align with the organization’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness, and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement.
