President's Desk

Greetings Sorors and Visitors,
Welcome to the official website of the Sigma Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I am delighted to be a part of such a distinguished sorority that stands on such a strong foundation to serve others built by 22 collegiate women at Howard University on January 13, 1913. 107 years later, the sorority is still committed to public service in many communities and college campuses, nationally and internationally.
Sigma Phi was charter on April 26, 1997 by nine tenacious women and we extend our warmest "thank-you" to them. Their bold decision to charter this chapter has extended many collegiate young women to seek membership into Delta Sigma Theta. The Sigma Phi Chapter proudly serves the University of Arkansas at Monticello by hosting (and collaborating with other campus organizations) programs that align with our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement.
On behalf of the Sigma Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I encourage a visitors to learn more about us locally, nationally, and internationally. Please reach out to us via email or submit a message on this website. We look forward to your support at our events and public service projects.
Sisterly Dedicated,
J'Naya Brown, Chapter President
